A New Beginning

This week I found out that Twitter is shutting Posterous down. While I am not surprised, I am certainly saddened by the news. It just drives the point home that even on the Web, nothing is forever.

On an even more personal note, I have hundreds of posts on rePOSiTEROUS that have to be archived. Then I have to find them a new home, which is here!

Sadly, Blogger does not have a facility to allow me to import the posts from the old rePOSiTEROUS to the new. Tumblr and SquareSpace do but I have an affinity with Blogger that I don't feel with the other two so here I am. Starting over. Starting from scratch.

    Wow? This is real Bull, what they have done!!!
    shouldnt they keep its customers, n happy at that?

    That's what happens when start-ups get bought over by bigger entities. The lesson here is to back up whatever we feel is important offline, which is a little counter-intuitive.
